A Promising Start to the New Year: MIND's Tianjin Project Launched with a Total Investment of 1.1 Billion Yuan!

On February 8, the groundbreaking ceremony of MIND's Tianjin project was officially held in the Western District of Tianjin Economic-Technological Development Area. Lian Maojun, a member of the Standing Committee of the Tianjin Municipal Party Committee and Secretary of the Binhai New Area District Party Committee, Shan Zefeng, Deputy Secretary of the Binhai New Area District Party Committee and District Mayor, and relevant leaders from the city and district attended this event. Zhao Guoqing, the Chairman of MIND Electronic Appliances Co., Ltd., and Guan Yong, the Vice President, represented MIND and announced the official start of the MIND Tianjin project, marking the deepening of MIND's industrial chain layout in the Tianjin area.

The MIND Tianjin project integrates geographical, industrial chain, factor guarantee, and supply chain advantages. With a total investment of 1.153 billion yuan and a land area of approximately 100,000 square meters, it will build two new factories for optoelectronic and thermal systems. The main products will include air conditioning assemblies, cooling modules, vehicle front lights, side lights, tailgate lights, and small lights. The planned annual production capacity is 400,000 units/sets, with an additional 1,200 to 1,400 employees. The project is scheduled to be completed and put into production in 2025, and its annual output value after reaching full production is expected to be around 3 billion yuan.

At the event, Shan Zefeng, Deputy Secretary of the Binhai New Area District Party Committee and District Mayor, emphasized the economic development achievements of the new area and warmly congratulated on the launch of GWM's MIND Tianjin project. In the past year, the Binhai New Area has witnessed rapid economic development and an accelerated transformation of the automotive industry. As an important base, GWM's Tianjin factory has achieved remarkable results. The launch of the new project marks the beginning of a new chapter in the cooperation between GWM and Tianjin, which will promote the deep integration of the automotive industry chain in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. He also expressed that the government will fully support the project, looking forward to more high-quality enterprises landing in the new area to boost high-quality development.
